Sarah & Gregory

Sarah & Gregory are great friends of mine! We had a lot of fun during this shoot! Sarah is 8 months along!! My favorite moment was when Gregory made a comment to runners going past about what a great day this was for engagement photos. Oh I laughed so hard!! My least favorite part was when Sarah and I saw wolves coming down from the mountains into the park. The shoot promptly ended as we called animal control from our cars. Scary!!

Enjoy!!

They are getting married this Saturday and they have asked me to video it on my Canon 5D Mark II. :) I am excited to be testing the waters of video with the training of Sarah from Camelot Studios. I will let you know how it turns out!!

Rachael's Run

This is my wonderful friend Rachael and her husband Jeffrey. Rachael is a very fun, energetic person! Early this year, Rachael was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

There is a 5k run/1 mile walk this Saturday, May 22 to raise money for her growing treatment bills. It is an eagle scout project put on by her cousin. Please come out and support this great cause or donate money at UCCU.

You can find out more information here.

These guys were sooooo much fun to photograph! We had a total blast doing their engagement shoot! Dani is amazingly gorgeous and her skin is perfect! Andrew is a really funny guy who kept me laughing the whole time!! They are both from Texas and I loved their choice in clothing for their outfit change! Way to show your personalities!!

wanna learn how to be a better photographer?

I am working with my fellow photography major Danielle Woodall to put together Take Your Best Shot Photography Workshop!! We are SO EXCITED about this!! The business idea came after years of people asking both us for "photo advice." I heard people say things like "I don't want to be a professional, I just want to learn how to take my own photos better." I realized that there are tons of workshops out there for professional photographers but very little for amateurs. It doesn't matter how nice your camera is if you don't know how to maximize its best features. Shooting on "auto" is not taking advantage of the cameras features. So if you have a nice camera (or just a point and shoot) and you want to learn how the heck to use it- check it out! Ya photo's!
